*We strongly suggest googling swatches prior to purchasing any of our polishes. While we try our best to describe and photograph polishes as accurately as possible, differences in monitors and such may skew the way polishes look on here vs. in person.*
Sonnetarium is a lovely indie that we stumbled upon, fell in love with, and then spent the next hour oogling over swatches that came up in our search. In our opinion, Sonnetarium has put out some absolutely unique, eye-catching polishes that we feel will become fast favorites for many of our customers.
Note: Sonnetarium polishes come in 9ml bottles, which are close in size to Glitter Gal's 10ml bottles.Sonnetarium polishes are 3-Free and Cruelty-free!
SHADES
After it Rains - A gorgeously vibrant sky-blue filled with multi-colored and multisized hex.
Hong Bao - Warm orange-red-pink jelly filled with gold and black hex and a sprinkling of golden shimmer
Samurai Princess - Clear base chocked full of a smorgasbord of multi-size black and white hex and black and white bar glitter. Sonnetarium had the following to say in her Etsy store regarding comparisons made between Samurai Princess and other similar polishes:
"I will begin by telling you that Samurai Princess is by NO means CtD or
SnS. Samurai Princess is more like the illegitimate birth child of Ctd,
SnS, and the Nubar Polka Dots, if that were possible. Samurai Princess
has no shimmering base and no square glitters. You will also not find
the extremely giant, rare, but beautiful black hex as CtD has. However,
Samurai Princess does contain the ultrafine white and black glitters
that SnS and many other versions lack.
As such, I would like to
inform you all that Samurai Princess is by no means a replacement or an
exact dupe of either polish, nor did I intend it to be. Please purchase
with this in mind."
Snowfall - Clear base packed with multi-size white hex and a delicate dash of iridescent sparkles.
Weapons of Massive Consumption - Clear base with a mix of multi-size gold and silver holographic glitters (this is not a holo polish, rather the glittery pieces themselves flash holographic rainbow of colors).
Never Glow Up (Glows in the dark) - Minty turquoise jelly with iridescent shimmer and glitter that glows in the dark. Sonnetarium offered the following usage advice in her sore:
"GLOW: To get the most glow out of your glow-in-the-dark polish, try
layering it over a white base as it will bring out the brightness a bit
more. (However, this is not required, as you can simply use it on its
own!) In addition, this polish must be "charged" in order for it to
glow. 10 minutes in direct sunlight will give it a full charge. Wear it
on a sunny day and it will automatically do so! Artificial light will
also charge the polish, albeit a bit slower than sunlight. Depending on
the charge duration and method, this polish can glow for up to 10 hours.
USAGE:
Please shake before using to get the best glow pigment coverage. I
would suggest using at least two coats, but if you do not care that much
about glow, one is sufficient. Due to the nature of the glow pigment,
this polish dries fast and a little gritty. Please keep nail polish
thinner on hand (the Sally's thinner works well) and finish with a clear
topcoat! A good basecoat will make this polish easier to remove as
well.
This polish is only offered in the 9mL size. The
phosphorescent pigment used is biologically and chemically inert;
non-toxic, non-radioactive, and environmentally friendly. It has been
tested by the manufacturer to be safe for prolonged skin contact, and is
also used in mediums such as soaps and hair gels."
Colors are limited to what is available in stock (check options above if not on Back Order).
VARIATION BETWEEN MONITORS
Please keep in mind when purchasing polishes online that there is often variation between monitors, so what you see in person and what you see on your computer screen may differ. We strongly suggest looking up multiple swatches online on your favorite polish blogs to give you a better idea of what polish colors look like on the nail.
